About

Who I am, what I do, and what this blog is for.

I'm Enzo Amorim. I write software for a living and I'm Flora's father.

What I do

I'm a full-time dad and software engineer, but part-time business developer, event/show assistant, chef, Muay Thai punching dummy, bad surfer, sub-15-pace runner and many more. I love messy problems, things no one wants to touch, adventures no one wants to go on, and being annoyingly analytical about things I don't necessarily need to be.

Why this blog

This blog is where I write about the things I build, but also about everything else: life, being a dad, books, a bit of philosophy now and then, and whatever question I happen to be stuck on at the moment. Most of it is for my own future reference. If it's useful to you too, even better.

Now

What I'm up to lately. I'll update this every few months.

  • Building Aya Trade, LiquitX and Eurovision
  • Reading Planning Extreme Programming
  • Learning guitar (it's been an awesome experience)

Elsewhere

My code is on GitHub and the rest of my life is onInstagram. You can say hi atenzo@raion.tech.

On AI

Nothing here is generated by AI. The thoughts, the opinions, and the words are mine, usually said out loud first and written down after. I do let AI correct what I write, fix my English, and tidy the sentences, the way a good editor would. It also reads the posts aloud in a clone of my voice, and that is labeled wherever it appears. If a sentence is wrong, that is on me, not the machine.
